The North Wicklow Anarchist Forum was set up with the aim that people with the ability of frequenting the North Wicklow
area, and had even the slightest interest or curiosity in anarchism, could attend to discuss their questions regarding anarchism
or radical politics, issues they wish to highlight, and also ideas they have that they would like to work with other people
on.
It is open to all and is not a collective but I would hope that it might be the breeding ground for people to come together
and form groups of limited (necessary) lifespan in order to accomplish goals etc. Ideas so far include a free-sheet called
Not Without A Fight that pretty much anyone can send their articles on questions, issues or ideas to, to parody an election
campaign for the up and coming general elections urging people to question for themselves how their lives will be bettered
by the voting process and to hold an event on the day of voting where curious people may attend and find out more in the hope
that some sort of community initiatives will commence and make peoples lives a little better through cooperation post-election
day, and thirdly, to organise a weekend of workshops and discussions exploring gender and feminism.

The forum intends to encourage thoughts and dialogue on issues such as community, class, and how our country, our lives
and our world are being run, and if those elected to do the job are doing them appropriately and responsibly, and to provide
a time and place for the discussion of such issues, and for motivation and support in acting on these issues. It also intends
on becoming one of the many pinpoints of a global network that is increasingly placing pressure on those few that claim authority
over the voiceless lives of so many.
